Astad Pastakia in NIEP’s panel of consultant
Astad’s career spans a decade of developmental work at the grassroots, followed by another decade in developmental academics and consultancy. For the past three years he has been working as a freelance consultant in the fields of community based natural resource management and livelihood augmentation. Through documentation and research, he strives to strengthen the hands of developmental workers and their initiatives on one hand and policy makers on the other.
Recipient of the Outstanding Paper award for his paper
“Grassroots Ecoprenerus: change agents for a sustainable society” which appeared in Journal of Organizational Change Management (Vol 11, No. 2. 1998)
“Dr. Astad Pastakia receiving his Award from the Reverend Graham Cornish at the Awards ceremony held on 26th April 1999 in London.”

Dr. S. P. Sinha- Wildlife COnsultant
Dr. Sinha is currently working as project coordinator SOS rhino Project in Dudhwa NP and Consultant, Rhino reintroduction Programme of Uttaranchal State. Earlier worked as consulatant in World Bank Project in Gujarat and West Bengal.
