Environmental Manager, Nokia Telecom SEZ, Chennai, India
Position Description
Nokia Telecom Park is looking for an individual that will manage
environmental issues in the Nokia SEZ in order to guarantee maximum
efficiency and effectiveness in environmental management. This
position is the focal point for the industrial park environmental
management. He/she plays a key role in integrating environmental
issues across all companies located in the industrial park.
Key tasks
- Manages environmental issues in the industrial park enhancing
environmental management efficiency
- Overall planning responsibility for the whole industrial park
related to environmental management
- Coordinates environmental risk management across industrial park
- Sets up continual environmental base line data collection system
- Develops strategies and guidelines for waste management solutions
and practices
- Developes and coordinates waste management solutions and other
relevant environmental practices
- Guarantees environmental cooperation across all companies in the
park
- Guarantees environmental cooperation with state and government
authorities
- Coordinates facilities related common industrial park Environmental
data collection, monitors data and supports companies in the park
- Follows environmental legislation in India, supports companies in
local follow-up
- Coordinates and works with local network to monitor local
environmental projects and programs and assures timely completion
- Provides environmental information for companies in the park
- Develops and manages supplier and collaboration relationships in
environmental management
- Manages and participates in environmental audits
