Research: Worked on developing policy tools for Community Based Sustainable Forest Management.

 

Consultancy: Worked as a consultant to the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) on Social Forestry Issues; and the National Wasteland Development Board (NWDB), Government of India, on community involvement in forest rehabilitation.

Prepared one project each on Integrated Watershed Management, and Modern Fire Fighting; participated in successful negotiations for the funding of these projects with the World Food Program (WFP), and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), respectively.
